| YBH uses a variety of programs designed
to get kids moving. These programs were selected by a
focus group from a list of more than 20 activities. Instructors
were then hired to provide the various programs to the
participants. YBH's Fitness Program is supervised by Kris
Morrill, board member and certified personal trainer.
Kris is the owner of World
Camp Fitness training and writes a weekly column for
The Albany Herald newspaper. |

| YBH Participants are encouraged to walk
as often as they can for as long as they can. In addition,
they keep track of their total daily steps by using a
pedometer or step counter. Every 10,000 steps equals 5
miles, which is the goal for the day. All movement counts
towards their step totals as long as they are wearing
their pedometers correctly. |
